The Port of Los Angeles Police Headquarter is a 134,000 square-foot project which includes the demolition of a two-level parking structure and the new construction of one building, a three-story Police building with one level subterranean parking. The scope of work also includes the construction of storm drainage, water, sanitary, sewer, fire, gas, electrical, telecommunications and security systems. A plaza is expected to be constructed to include hardscape and landscape to complement the whole structure. This project should comply with the requirement to achieve the US Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Gold Certification.
