The Port of Los Angeles Police Headquarters is a 134,000 square foot project including the demolition of a two-level parking structure and the new construction of a single large-scale building requiring a three-story Police facility and one level subterranean parking. Diverse project magnitude includes the construction of storm drainage, water, sanitary, sewer, fire, gas, electrical, telecommunications, and securities systems. A central plaza is expected to compliment the finish of the structure, incorporating hardscape and landscape sustainability standards. Overall construction is projected to comply with the necessary requirements to achieve the US Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Gold certification.
