| The California State University Student Health Science Center is a 50,000 square foot new construction and renovation project including several laboratories, x-ray rooms, and a pharmacy, in addition to a dental clinic and chiropractic clinic. Multiple allocations for patients’ rooms and administrative offices were also included.
For the existing structure, FTR International Inc. performed work on the removal of asbestos and the replacement of electrical, mechanical, and sanitary facilities, including partitions and architectural finishes. The mission of the Student Health Center is to provide high-quality, affordable health care and health education for the students of Cal State LA in order to preserve and enhance their potential for academic success and personal development. The Student Health Center also seeks to serve as the primary health resource for University student body, faculty, and staff. |
