FTR was short-listed for a new $105Million Design-Build project for LACCD’s West Los Angeles Campus
IRVINE, Calif., July 28, 2008 On July 24, 2008, FTR participated and submitted a Step-2 project specific proposal to Los Angeles Community College District for the West Los Angeles Campus project with an estimated construction cost of $105Million.
The FTR-Gensler-Leo A Daly team was short-listed along with two other design-build teams under Categories 3 and 7 as they relate to Physical Education and Stadium and Field Avenue project types, respectively.
The project includes an 180,000 gross square feet athletic building, a 3,000-seat baseball stadium, two soccer fields and one softball field. In addition, two sand volleyball courts and five tennis courts are included in the scope.
This is one of FTR’s first submittals to LACCD’s $3.5Billion Design-Build Step-2 Program and we are delighted to have been selected to participate in this exciting process.
