FTR Awarded Design-Build LEED Platinum Project at Los Angeles Mission CollegeIRVINE, Calif., July 2, 2010
FTR has received formal award for the multimillion dollar LEED Platinum Project at Los Angeles Mission College.for the Los Angeles Community College District.
The upcoming Student Services Center at Los Angeles Mission College requires LEED Platinum Certification upon completion and will include a 63,000 square foot building that will house all Academic Services Departments including Admissions and Records, Financial Aid, Administrative Services, Academic Counseling, Assessment and Orientation, Disabled Students Services, Veterans and International Students Programs.
The Student Services Centers strategic location, at the primary entrance to the campus off Eldridge Avenue, will make this project another iconic building for the campus.
The FTR and NBBJ Design-Build Team proposal intends to address the current concerns and future expectations of LACCD representatives and Los Angeles Mission College, students, faculty and staff.
After recently completing the Health, Fitness and Athletics Center at LAMC, we look forward to the opportunity to work on-campus again. We hope to continue strengthening our relationships with our partners.
